IT IS IMPORTANT TO DETECT STDs AT AN EARLY STAGE!
The stigma of STDs is often much worse than having an infection itself as almost all STDs are treatable and even completely curable – but only if detected at an early stage! However, STDs often go unnoticed due to missing or ambiguous symptoms and eventually can lead to:
- Chronic health problems
- Irreversible damage to brain, heart and nervous system
- Infertility
Very important: Even if you do not have symptoms, yet, you may still have contracted an STD – time to check your STD status!

WHAT ARE COMMON SYMPTOMS OF STDs IN MEN?

Nothing! The infection just gradually spreads over time.

Blisters on or around penis

White, yellow or green discharge

Painful urination

Painful ejaculation

Fever, joint and muscle pains, skin rash, fatigue, etc.
STD testing does not have to be uncomfortable!
Understandably, for many people it is unpleasant to go to the doctor in order to check their STD status. They might feel ashamed or afraid of getting judged. BUT: While it’s never shameful to take care of your (sexual) health, STD testing does not have to be uncomfortable! With at-home STD tests you can check your STD status simply and discreetly in the comfort of your own home.

FAQ
Answer 1: If you are sexually active, it is recommended to get tested at minimum once a year for your own and your partner’s safety and sexual health. Every year in the United States, there are around 19.7 million new STD infections. Without knowing it, many people can have an STD without experiencing symptoms. Getting tested regularly helps to prevent infection that could harm you if left undiagnosed and untreated. Preventing the spread of STDs is everybody’s responsibility and knowing your status is a way to do your part while also keeping yourself healthy.
Answer 2: Anyone who is sexually active should get tested for STDs on a regular basis. The frequency of testing is dependent on how active you are and if you are currently outside of a monogamous relationship. The CDC recommends testing every 3-12 months depending on risk category. A yearly STD test is the minimum responsible frequency and testing should be done more if you engage in unprotected sex with a new partner.
Answer 3: Even if you have had an STD before, you are not immune. Bacterial STDs can be treated and cured, but can be contracted again upon exposure. Most viral STDs are incurable and will stay in your system for life. However, they can be controlled with proper medication and treatment.
Answer 4: We take customer privacy very seriously. Only you will have access to your results and we will not share your results with any third party. All samples are disposed of following analysis.
