Any Questions?

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions regarding this test. Your question is missing? Please contact us at:

What is the purpose of the Indoor & Outdoor Allergy Test?

The Indoor & Outdoor Allergy Test assesses your immune system's IgG antibody response to 48 common allergens, including spores and pollens from trees, grasses, mold, dust, and more. This test helps individuals identify which airborne sensitivities may be affecting them.

How exactly does the test work?

The test measures IgG antibodies in your blood to determine your body's reactivity to specific allergens. It helps identify whether you have sensitivities to certain spores and pollens.

How can I benefit from taking this test?

By knowing which spores and pollens your body is reacting to, you can take steps to minimize exposure and manage your sensitivities more effectively. This knowledge can help you make informed decisions about your environment and lifestyle.

I am not getting enough blood from my finger, what can I do?

Prepare the blood draw well: Hold your hand a little longer under warm water and circle your arm to stimulate blood circulation. Prick the finger on the side, not directly on top of the fingertip. The middle or ring finger of the non-dominant hand is usually best. When piercing, place your finger on a firm surface to avoid unconscious pulling back. A light squeeze and massage towards the fingertip helps stimulate blood flow. Alternatively, blood can be taken from the earlobe or from the vein (at the doctor's).

Are your partner labs CLIA certified?

Yes, your sample is analyzed by a CLIA-certified lab (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments), meeting high state and federal standards and certifications.
