Who should take the test?
Anyone who wants to monitor their blood sugar levels over the last 90 days to detect any risk of developing cardiovascular and arteriosclerotic diseases early. This test can be conducted regularly (1-2 times per year) in order to react quickly to increases in blood sugar, e.g. with the help of dietary changes.
Increased long-term blood sugar levels can be early risk factors and notices for potential heart problems and the onset of diabetes, as well as damages to eyes, kidneys, and the nerve system.
How does it work?
You collect a dried blood spot sample from the comfort of your home, send it to our lab and will receive the lab results, including detailed information about your HbA1c levels.
What guidance will I get along with my results?
After the analysis was conducted, you will receive a lab report with explanations about the analyzed markers as well as information about possible symptoms that can occur when there is an imbalance. Further to that, we always recommend the discussion of the mailed results with your doctor or practitioner.
Although we do not offer medical advice ourselves, we will gladly assist you in finding a suitable therapist in your area. Besides, further information is available on our website, especially in the different test categories, under “health conditions” and the FAQs. Still have questions? Then you can contact us by writing an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How is my privacy protected?
Samples for our tests are collected in the privacy of your own home. We and our partner laboratories (who may be contracted by us to conduct some or all analyses of your test) take customer privacy very seriously. Only you will have access to this information and we will not share your information with any not authorized third party. All samples are disposed of following analysis.
